Vivo X5 Max The Thinnest Smartphone In The World For Now

After less than two months after Oppo announcing Oppo R5 as the thinnest smartphone in the world, and now one of China's smart phone manufacturers namely Vivo announced their latest smartphone, Vivo X5 Max with a thickness of only 3.98mm framework, and the full thickness of the device at 4.75 mm.


Vivo X5 Max brings a 5.5-inch sized screen with a resolution of 1080p Super AMOLED, using 1.7Ghz Snapdragon 615 chip, 2GB of RAM, and 16GB of storage space. For the camera, it uses a 13-megapixel sensor from Sony, and on the front it includes a 5-megapixel camera for recording selfie. Unlike the Oppo R5, this device still maintain audio-jack, and comes with dual-SIM support through the use of a micro-SD slot (more or less like the Oppo N3 and Huawei Ascend Mate 7, where in the micro-SD slot can be used for SIM-cards nano, while the main SIM card using a micro-SIM size.



For software, it uses Funtouch OS 2.0 which is based on Android 4.4, and also comes with support for HiFi 2.0 for a better audio.

Given the existing Vivo offer some of their devices in Malaysia, we might be able to see it enter the local market soon.
