The First Flower Blooms In Space

Making plant breeding in space is one of the new challenges, especially with efforts to open new habitat on the planet Mars. Finally, one of the astronauts have a shared image of the first flower that grows in space or, more precisely, on the International Space Station (ISS).
NASA and the astronauts have to pick the flowers of zinnia family in order to facilitate their understanding of the growth process that life interest in micro-gravity.

Efforts planting flowers in the sky have been initiated since the end of last year, where at first they face a number of problems related to control of water and a few other things.

Further to this effort, NASA also viewed will try to plant Chinese cabbage in space this year.
